Xpm version 3.4c has been compiled for decmips, sun4, and rsaix in the graphics
locker. The last version was 3.2g. 3.2g include files and library files remain
for the time being as <xpmold.h> and -lXpmold.
Allso -- pixmap, an Xpm editor based heavily on X11R5 bitmap, has been compiled
for decmips, sun4, and rsaix in the graphics locker. It doesn't seem that
useful or stable, but is the only editor available on Athena that I know of
which deals well with Xpm's color extensions (ie., different colors for
different visual types, symbolic color names, a transparent color, etc.)

p.s. Xpm, or the X PixMap format, is a C-includable graphics format designed
for small, multicolored icons. Its interesting features, besides Emacs
editability, include having different colormaps for different visual types,
having a transparent color, and being able to systematically recolor the icon
at load time via symbolic color names.
