Dungeon and Adventure have arrived in the games locker; both are
classic text adventures wherein you must defeat the evil parser
and acquire treasures. Both are loosely based on the original
Colossal Cave game.

Dungeon, also known as Zork, was originally written by a bunch o'
chaps from LCS, who later went on to form Infocom (it is the source
of the Zork I, Zork II, and Zork III games you may have played; they
are chopped up versions designed to fit in the 64k available to
microcomputers at the time). At some point, this game existed
in the games locker (there was a symlink from zork), and remnants
(the link, at least) are still there for vaxen...

Adventure is the standard 350-point version, distributed with
BSD 4.4 (available in the 4.4lite locker). Remember your magic words,
and be wary of paying for hints (TANSTAAFL, 'ya know).

Dungeon is available for all 3 primary athena platforms, so you should
feel free to play as often as you wish :-) (add games; dungeon)
Adventure is available only for Solaris and Ultrix right now;
AIX will come along eventually. (add games; adventure)

Enjoy!
