Mathematica and Maple upgrades on Athena (Sun, Linux)

I've updated the Maple and Mathematica symbolic math applications on Athena
to release 9 and 5.0 respectively. From my messages to users:
Maple 9.0 has been installed on Athena. To run it now, do:
add maple
maple -ver 9.0 &
at the Athena prompt. We are planning to make it the Athena default
shortly before the start of the Fall semester if testing results are
favorable.

Mathematica 5.0 has been installed on Athena for Sun and Linux machines. You
can run it by typing "add math", followed by:
mathematica -ver 5.0 & (for the GUI interface)
math -ver 5.0 (for the TTY interface)
For new features follow the "What's New in 5" link on the opening splash
screen. We are planning to make it the Athena default shortly before
the start of the Fall semester if accelerated testing results are
favorable.
