I have updated the SGI Cerius2 computational chemistry application, part
of the Accelrys (formerly Molecular Simulations) software suite on
Athena, to release 4.6. From my message announcing this to current users:
Cerius2 4.6 is now available. To run it, type "add molsim; cerius2-4.6" at the
Athena prompt. This is a combined Life Science/Materials Science release.
Documentation and release notes highlighting new features are
available on the vendor's documentation Web site
(http://www.accelrys.com/doc/life/cerius46/index.html). (use user ID:
msi and password: msi-doc to get in).
Please send questions/configuration problems to the 3partysw@mit.edu
mailing list.
Local pdf documentation for various Accelrys products is also
available, in the /mit/molsim/doc-7.01/doc/pdf directory.
As before, you need to be running the default SGI 4Dwm Window Manager for
it to work properly (choose the login using Dash interface option).
