I've updated Qt on Athena to release 2.3.1 for all platforms and made
it the default. Qt is a set of widgets for developing GUI interfaces
(and in particular, is the basis of the Linux KDE desktop and the
Opera browser).
I also plan to install the new 3.0.0 release when it is out of beta,
but will not make it (or a later update) the default until the next
semester boundary.
