I've updated MATLAB on Athena to 9.1 (R2016b). From my message to users:
MATLAB 9.1 has been installed (they also call it R2016b). Release notes
are at
http://www.mathworks.com/help/matlab/release-notes.html
Additional information is at
https://web.mit.edu/matlab_v9.0/README.athena
To run 9.1 now:
add matlab
matlab -ver 9.1 (terminal window interface)
matlab -ver 9.1 -desktop (Java GUI)
It will be made the default version after the end of the current
semester.
