I have installed CHEMKIN on Athena for Sun and SGI (not yet available
for Linux). CHEMKIN is a package for investigating problems in
elementary gas-phase chemical kinetics. It can be accessed either from
a GUI or in batch mode. To run the GUI:

add chemkin
chemkin

To run a sample click on the type of simulation that you would like to
run (e.g. senkin). The input files for the sample are loaded by
default. In the window that appears click Run:All to run the job. Then
click the Post-processor button to see the results graphically.

To build the examples in batch mode without running the GUI (you will need 5-6
meg. of free disk space in your home directory):

add chemkin_v3.6
source /mit/chemkin_v3.6/cshrc
cd ~/chemkin36/samples
buildsamples

There is extensive documentation starting from
https://web.mit.edu/chemkin_v3.6/www/sitenavigation.html (you will need an
MIT certificate to get to it).
