Hi,
Some potentially user-visible changes will take place in the Athena
MATLAB lockers as of tomorrow. We have decided to discontinue putting
contributed Toolboxes on the default MATLABPATH, as this was causing
problems and user confusion. From my message to users:
The presence of contributed Toolboxes on the default MATLABPATH has
been causing problems and paths to these have been removed. File
/mit/matlab/startup.m contains lines that will add each of the
currently existing contributed Toolbox directories to MATLABPATH.
This has already been done (5/24/13) in the new MATLAB 8.1 locker,
and will be done next week (5/29/13) in the default MATLAB 8.0
locker.
If you need access to any or all of these Toolboxes, you can copy
this file to your home directory (if you don't already have a
startup.m file), or merge it with your existing ~/startup.m file
(if you do).
