I have updated Geomview on Athena to release 1.8.0 for Sun, SGI and Linux.
Geomview is a viewing and manipulation program for 3 dimensional objects
and is designed to interface to a variety of modules from various other
parties. Among these is a crystallography viewer (Wulffman) and an interface
to Mathematica 3d objects.
To run it now:
add geomview
geomview -ver 1.8.0
(I expect to make this version the default at the end of the current
semester). There is html documentation starting from
http://web.mit.edu/geomview_v1.8.0/www/index.html, and documentation in other
formats in the /mit/geomview_v1.8.0/doc directory.
