I've updated the NetBeans Java development environment on Athena to 6.8.
To run it:
add netbeans
netbeans
From my message to users:
NetBeans 6.8 has been made the default. To run the prior 6.7.1 now:
add netbeans
netbeans -ver 6.7 &
User configuration files will be stored below a ~/.netbeans/6.8
directory in your home directory. The "ALL NEWS" button on the
start page will point you to information about new features in
this release.
A selection of add-on modules has also been installed. You can see which
ones by selecting Tools -> Plugins and selecting the Installed tab.
