I've updated Geneious on Athena to 4.8.2. Geneious is a bioinformatics tool
suite for finding, sharing and exploring Biological data such as DNA
sequences or proteins. To run it:
add geneious
geneious
From my message to users:
Geneious on Athena has been updated to 4.8.2 (free version) and this
has been made the default. For release notes and new features follow
Help -> Online Resources -> Release Notes within the GUI. To run the
prior 3.5.6 for a limited time:
add geneious
geneious -ver 3.5.6 &
There is online help and tutorial material within the application, and
a pdf manual is at http://web.mit.edu/geneious_v4.8.2/GeneiousManual.pdf.
