I've updated the installation of LyX, the graphical LaTeX-based
word processing package, to release 1.0.0 from 1.0.0-prerelease 8 for
Solaris, Irix, Linux, and NetBSD. This fixes numerous small bugs
present in prerelease 8. A complete list of changes, for the curious,
can be found in /mit/outland/src/lyx/CHANGES. To run LyX, type:
add outland
lyx &
at your athena% prompt. Documentation is available for both lyx and
reLyX, the Latex to LyX conversion utility, is available in the form of
man pages:
add outland
man lyx
man relyx
