I've updated mswordview in the consult locker to the most
recently released version, 0.5.2. For those not familiar with it,
mswordview is a program which converts MS Word 8 documents into HTML
format. It's currently available for Solaris, Irix, Linux, NetBSD, and
Ultrix. Features of the new release include:

*better support of table and column formatting

	*faster processing of long documents

	*better font support in endnotes/footnotes

*preliminary support for WMF (Windows Metafile) format graphics

	*AIX support (like we care)

	*and numerous bug fixes

To run mswordview, type:

add consult
mswordview filename.doc

which will produce a file filename.doc.html

Documentation is available in the form of a man page:

add consult
man mswordview

Any bug reports should be directed to bug-consult@mit.edu.
