I've installed CalculiX on Athena for Sun and Linux. Calculix is an
Open Source 3d structural analysis Finite Element program, with a pre-
and post-processor (cgx) and solution engine (ccx_1.6).
The basic commands for using it are:
add calculix
ccx_1.6 model (to process a structual model in file model.inp)
cgx othermodel.fbd (to view a processed model in file othermodel.fbd)
but other options exist, and you should consult the README.athena file at
http://web.mit.edu/calculix_v1.6/README.athena for more details and links
to documentation.
