I have installed a new version, 421, of the Macsyma symbolic math
package on Athena for Suns and SGIs. It fixes this application for
Suns runnning Solaris 2.6 (the prior 420 release broke on this
platform), but otherwise is pretty similar to the 420 release.
To run it, do "add macsyma; macsyma" (for a GUI interface), or
"add macsyma; macsyma dumb" (for a TTY interface).
Om Suns running Solaris 2.6, you will a message about "fcntl/ioctl
failed (-1) errno=22" in the launch window, but as far as I can tell
this is innocuous.
