I've installed Magic 7.4.29 (interactive VLSI circuit layout editor)
and IRSIM 9.7.27 (event-driven logic-level simulator), which is
integrated with it and which can be launched from within Magic. These
applications are quite complex and specialized, and you will most
likely need to consult documentation and tutorials accessible from the
main Magic Web site, http://opencircuitdesign.com/magic/. To launch
Magic:

	add magic-vlsi
	magic &

to launch IRSIM from within Magic's Tcl % interface:

	% irsim

Some of the documentation seems out of sync with current versions of
Magic and IRSIM, and we have seen some errors while running various
tests, but we're not sure if these are due to bugs, incorrect tutorial
examples or misconfiguration. If you suspect the latter, please report
the details (and fixes or workarounds, if you know of any) to the
3partysw@mit.edu mailing list.
