I've installed in the outland locker a zwrite client called kzwrite
that will make use of the krb5 tickets we're getting now adays to send
encrypted zephyrs to users. Documentation can be found at
/mit/outland/src/kzwrite/README and VERSION; basically it requires an
addition to the zwgc.desc and use of the -e option to kzwrite to turn
on encryption.
It's only compiled for solaris at the moment, irix will be following
and then the pc platforms. As I've just now finised writing this, bug
reports would be helpful -- for the near future they can go to
kretch@mit.edu instead of bug-outland. Please read the VERSION file
before sending bug reports though.
If you'd like to be kept up to date with changes (improvements) to
kzwrite you can add yourself to kzwrite@mit.edu by typing:
blanche kzwrite -a $USER
at the athena prompt.
Incedentally, I'll be doing regular checksums on the binaries at least
until I can get a sane build system up.
Enjoy.
