I've updated TeXmacs on Athena to 1.0.6. TeXmacs is a "scientific word
processor" that allows structured documents to be created using TeX to
typeset figures and formulas. To run it:

	add texmacs
	texmacs

From my message to users:

TeXmacs on Athena has been updated to 1.0.6 and is now the default. To run the
older 1.0.4 release now:

        add texmacs
        texmacs -ver 1.0.4

this version can run the following math applications internally, via
Insert -> Session: Maple
                   Mathematica
                   Matlab
                   Maxima
                   Octave
                   Scilab
