I've updated the AbiWord word processor on Athena to 2.4.5. From my message to
users:
AbiWord on Athena has been updated to release 2.4.5 and made the default.
Release notes are at http://www.abisource.com/release-notes/2.4.5.phtml
There is online help, and several tutorials below
http://web.mit.edu/abiword_v2.4.5/Tutorials/
and a user's manual in AbiWord format (/mit/abiword_v2.4.5/Abiword_Manual.abw).
For a limited time, you can run the prior 2.2.8 release by doing:
add abiword
abiword -ver 2.2.8
