Matlab 7.2 is now available on Athena. From my message to users:
Matlab 7.2 has been installed on Athena (they also call it
R2006a). Many of the Toolboxes have been updated (use Matlab "ver"
command for versions).
Release notes are available in the internal help system, or at the
Mathworks Web site:
http://www.mathworks.com/access/helpdesk/help/base/relnotes/
To run it now:
add matlab
matlab -ver 7.2
It will not be made the default version until after the end of the current
semester.
Please let us know if you encounter significant problems or bugs by
writing to the 3partysw@mit.edu mailing list.
And on a related note, we don't plan to update the Student Matlab installers
to this (or a newer) release until sometime this Summer.
