I've installed Pymol on Athena. Pymol is a 3d molecule image viewer that allows
interactive manipulation and multiple display formats. To run it:
add pymol
pymol
From my (edited) message to users:
You are running pymol 0.99, which has recently been installed on Athena.
pymol is a multi-featured molecular structure viewer- the built-in demos
will show most of its capabilities.
Please note that the license terms that apply to this installation
require that use be limited to teaching only. Details are available at
http://delsci.com/terms.
A user's manual is at http://pymol.sourceforge.net/newman/user/toc.html
and a reference manual at http://pymol.sourceforge.net/newman/ref/toc.html
(pdf copies are in the pymol_v0.99 locker in the doc directory).
(The version was initially 0.98 but 0.99 came out a day after I installed it).
