I've installed blender on Athena for Sun and Linux. blender is an
elaborate 3d modeling, animation, rendering, design, post-production
and playback application. It can be somewhat daunting due to the large
number of modes and keystroke combinations. The online documentation
links to tutorials on the web, and there are locally installed pdf
documents at the top of the blender_v2.40 locker (files
BlenderTutorialGuide1.pdf, BlenderQuickStart.pdf); there are also a
number of example animations in the locker, in the 225_game_demos
directory. to run it:
add blender
