I've updated the Stata statistics package on Athena to 9.0. From my message
to users:
Stata 9 is now available on Athena. This is a major upgrade, with many new
features. The online help system has a section explaining the new
functionality (in xstata, Help, "What's New" button in the help browser).
To run the various versions, type "add stata", followed by one of:
stata -ver 9
xstata -ver 9
stata-se -ver 9
xstata-se -ver 9
We plan to make this the default version after the end of the current term.
