The top level page seems to be getting on the order of 700 hits/day.
I don't know what this means about the whole site. I asked,
and fishwrap didn't have stats available.
Just to check with the webmasters: I assume this isn't a problem with
you? (You had previously indicated that it wasn;t a problem). The
plan is to move the IHTFP Online Hack Gallery into the SIPB AFS cell
and then serve the documents from www.mit.edu.
If it wouldn't be a problem, I'd also like to get the cname hacks.mit.edu
added to www.mit.edu so that we can more easily move the gallery in
the future.
Looking at the current space distribution, it's unclear how
things would easily break down into volumes. (Doing so
would increase the space requirements considerably because
it wouldn't be clear how much space would be needed for each
range of years, etc).
