backup dumpinfo problem

Are we still having the problem where only some of the buservers can
respond to a dumpinfo query? I believe that we saw this in the athena
cell a long time ago, and corrected it by going to a backup, butc, and
buserver from the same patches release. Is there a good reason not to
try this (preferably while patches 5 is still the current release,
since that is what's being used in the athena cell)?
