Yes, I do trust it. The IP address will remain the same, and the
cname will still point to it. I see absolutely no problem with this.
You MUST be able to use a cname and aname interchangibly to access a
host.

Given the current plan, we have to reboot the machine anyways. We are
already renaming the machine from sipb-server-1. I'm just suggesting
we rename it to _ronald-ann_, not _ronald-ann2_ when we do the
renaming, and change the info in DNS to swap the A-name and CNAME.
So, it wont cause any more of an outage that the planned outage on
Saturday.
