I think you are correct that is is not backed up, although I don;t
think it is an amazingly big deal, since the data is replicated on all
3 afs servers.
Agreed.
I think the only database that "really" matters in the sipb cell is
the prdb, and of that, the only thing hard to create is the list of
the names of the users registered in the cell (the uid's come from the
athena uid space managed by moira) and the local pts groups.
We're not running a sipb cell kaserver any more, right?
The vldb can be recreated from scratch as long as you can remember
which fileservers are in your cell :-).
The truly paranoid would work out some way to produce a textual dump
of the prdb, accumulate old versions, and mail out diffs once a week..
