Ok, well I won't be around, but if people decide to do this, the new
kernel with the patch in question is now in /vmunix.new.
If I understand it correctly, taking down reynelda later will require
two elections, plus some number of clients will report "afs: Lost
contact with volume location server ...", neither of which would
happen now, but Friday at 5pm may still be an excessively bad time.
