From: ghudson@MIT.EDU Date: Thu, 24 Aug 1995 15:56:51 -0400 To: sipb-afsreq@MIT.EDU I phoned R^2 tech support today (it took me a while to get the sales order numbers, since ljr was out until today), and they're going to process RMAs for both the recent Seagate 4GB disk and the Micropolis 4GB disk on rosebud. We should have the replacements within a few days. Unfortunately, the freshmen are already here, so we're going to be creating a noticeable outage (and a bad first impression). I'll probably pick Sunday mornings at about 2am for the outages; hopefully the Seagate replacement will arrive tomorrow or Saturday so that we can do the swap this Sunday morning; otherwise we'll probably wait a week for that.
