For the record:
there was an outage, r-a kept rebooting without logging a panic message. This
was happening the same time as tree-killer was having the same problem so
after replacing tree-killers power supply we replaced r-a's
r-a was of course the bottom machine in the AFS stack. We had 4 people so
removing it was not too bad. In the process of putting it back (we put it on
top) rb2 dropped power. No one 'tripped' on the power cord, it did not even
come leave the machine, it must have loosened up enough to break contact.
r-a had been bouncing for a while (a couple hours )
Anything I missed ?
