rosebud2 fell over today at about 7:15; maybe it lost contact with its
disk. I rebooted it at about 7:30 using the keyboard, and it came
back up fine (i.e. I didn't have to power everything down and back up
again). Matt Power was reported to have said, "cool". It came back
up and finished salvaging at about 7:45, so there was about a
half-hour outage. Fortunately, client machines didn't hang, so most
users didn't notice.

Maybe we should have a third AFS server running just db server
processes on, say, bloom-picayune after we get rid of rosebud, in
order to avoid having clients hang during outages? It wouldn't be in
the client CellServDB, just the server ones. This plan would raise
some administration issues and complicate the bloom-picayune setup,
but I think it's better than the alternative. (The AFS 3.3a servers
might also fix the bug, so this might be unnecessary, but we have no
particular reason to believe that.)
