I was planning on suggesting we run ntp on the AFS servers too. (I
was just going to wait a few weeks for things to settle a little,
before I did.) Anyhow, I believe we should be running a master timed
on 18.181, for the vaxen and rt's if nothing else (assuming the office
does switch subnets one of these days). Running xntpd is a prereq for
running a master timed these days, which is why I think we need to do
that. Running ntp will also prevent the problem Matt was describing,
if any machine uses the sipb cell as it's local cell. As for running
ntp and master timed's on both AFS servers, I think we should, because
it makes the servers more consistant with each other, and provides
redundancy.
