About about 11:50pm, the fileserver on rosebud2 stopped serving files.
Also, an attempt to remotely login as root hung after printing the motd.
At that time, bos status reported everything running normally; however,
a minute or so later it was no longer possible to communicate with the
bosserver. Also, then, it was not possible to get a login prompt on the
console. After booting the machine, only the rz1 and rz2 disks were
recognized at startup, i.e., the machine didn't "find" the 4 Gb disk.
However, after powercycling the machine and disks, the rz0 disk was
again recognized, and the machine came up without any problems. The
SalvageLog didn't indicate any lost files. Only one soft error had
been logged (to the internal disk) by uerf; I"ve attached that entry.
