Unlike Windows which stores icon and other GUI information in one separate
file, OS/2 attaches them to the file it's associated with. So opening a
folder involves tracking down every file in that directory. The advantage
is that if your ever move those files around, the GUI and hard disk won't
get out of synch (it is still possible though). The disadvantage, as you
noticed, is the speed.

A trick to getting by voice mail menus is to do nothing. Most voice mail
systems are set up so that if you don't push any buttons, it assumes you're
on a rotary phone and connects you to an operator.

I *hope* this is a mistake on IBM's part. Their tech support for software
has always been free via an 800 number for 90 days. Incompetent maybe, but
free.

When is MCC gonna get Warp!?!
