The next meeting of the MIT OS/2 USERS GROUP will be Thursday, May 19,
at 5pm in room 2-105. Andrew Simpson will be getting someone from IBM
to talk to us about the future of OS/2 (specifically 2.2, and IBM
software for OS/2, this isn't going to be another Workplace OS talk).
I will be attending meetings next week with people from MIT and IBM
concerning the possibility of site-licensing IBM software at MIT. If
you would like to meet with us, and describe the OS/2 development
projects that you would like to accomplish, please let me know. If
there is any particular software that you would like to see in this
agreement (such as OS/2 for Windows, TCP/IP, CSet++, etc.) fill out the
questionnaire below, and I will bring the responses to the meeting.
Also, let me know if you will be around this summer to attend MIT OS/2
USERS GROUP meetings. We need to know if there is enough demand to meet
regularly over the summer. (If you filled out a questionnaire at the
last meeting, you don't need to again...)
We also need a volunteer to run the June meeting (if there is enough
interest for one), since I will be out of town for most of June.

Will you be here this summer? May 19? June 16? July 21? Aug 18?
What OS/2 software would you like to see site-licensed at MIT?
Are you interested in developing for OS/2 this summer? What?
What topics would you like to see at future meetings?

Seen our OS/2 WWW Homepage lately? I think it looks really good.

And if you have a ~/www/home.html WWW Homepage on Athena, be sure to
include "key OS/2" in your ~/www/preferences file!
