You might remember that during the OS/2 users group meeting, I suggested
that you talk to the Admissions Office about possibly producing a spiffy
video tour of MIT for recruiting purposes. Well, that was just a random
unprompted thought, but my email this evening includes this item from an
electronic newsletter targeted at informing educators:

 > DESPERATELY SEEKING STUDENTS. Colleges and universities are
 > increasingly courting high school seniors by means of computerized
 > application capabilities, CD-ROM campus tours, and videos of campus
                             ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (emphasis added)
 > life. For example, New York University, in Greenwich Village, has a
 > video in which famous Village residents tout the school.  Village
 > celebrity Charles Kuralt, the TV personality, says on the video: "I
 > didn't learn much outside of class in a small college town.  This
 > school, there's a great education right out here on the streets of
 > the Village."  (New York Times 1/19/94 B8)
