Oh, I'm sure it happened. However, if one day, they start
notifying their customers of these issues in a prompt manner, it might
reduce the amount of duplicate trouble tickets and public embarassment.
Note, I'm not pointing any fingers at all...I'm sure we've
all been guilty of it at some time. Just pointing out the benefits
of proper notification. Yes, NANOG isn't the place for these reports,
but we can expect them to continue as long as people are keeping their
customers in the dark.
