Oh well, I guess it was too good to be true. Various customers of
at least three ISPs sent me mail describing various issues due to
the storms and power failures on Friday. I asked the ISPs about the
incidents, and they used words like transient, anomaly, and unusual
event. Bell Atlantic was the only ISP/carrier to use the word outage.
The others are still investigating.
