Have ISPs finally figured out how to keep things working during storms?

June 1 is the start of the US hurricane season, and several waves of
major storms passed through the midwest and northeast yesterday. The
FAA and several electric companies had scores of problems, but I didn't
hear about any ISP-affecting problems anywhere.

Are we off to a good start?
