If you drive around rural central and northeastern Texas, every ranch =
house and bunkhouse has a DirecTV or Dish installation.  Surprisingly, =
many of these same houses also have DSL available from the (heavily =
subsidized) telephone coops in the area.  The speeds aren't screaming, =
typically being in the 300-700 down/128-384 up ADSL-2+ range. So the =
demand is there, and so is the service in some areas.
