This result means that you urgently need to get a better WHOIS client.
Yours is probably querying com.whois-servers.net which is an alias of
whois.verisign-grs.com which, for some reason, by default returns the
names of all the entities in their database that matches your search
string. If you prefix the string with an = sign, it dumps the full
entries, which you can see are three name servers with silly names and
one perfectly normal registration for amazon.com.
