That's right folks, four committees have openings at this time. NomComm is now accepting applications for the Committee on Curricula, Committee on the Communications Requirement, Council for Educational Technology, and the UA Election Commission.

Proposed changes to the undergarduate curriculum go through COC. The committee also handles some student petitions.

CUP's Subcommittee on the Commuincation Requirement serves as guidance for the new communications requirement.

CET guides and advises any efforts to apply technology to the MIT education.

The Election Commission sets rules, oversees, and counts votes for student elecctions.

The application can be found on the web at
http://web.mit.edu/ua/Committees/Nomcomm/www/apply.html
Applications are due Thursday, December 6, at 6pm. Interviews will occur that weekend.

If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail ua-nomcomm-chairs@mit.edu.

Sincerely,
Jenn Martinez, Chair
Nomminations Committee
