Hello Everyone,
By now, I am sure many of you are aware of what is occurring on campuses
across America, whether it be in response to the MIT Spring Weekend
incident, the JDOAAI demolition, death threats, offensive editorial
writings, or any other catalytic incidents. In the midst of all these
unfortunate events many of you are deliberating, creating strategies, and
planning the implementation of those strategies to make steps towards
progress: developing programs, socials, writing commentaries or editorials,
petition signing; et cetera. With all that is being done at MIT I would
like add that we students be educated of the current programs and resources
available, so there is no overlap when creating new programs or initiatives
and that the respect for the work already done is maintained. Linked below
is a RLSLP website that lists a number of programs and initiatives that MIT
has to maintain a safe environment, build community, encourage scholarship
& leadership, and work towards a healthy, productive environment.
