    I quite specifically didn't say that because that's not what I
heard.  In the context of affirmative action, it has been alleged that
85% of the people who apply to MIT are capable of succeeding here. I was
pointing out that this is a policy of the admissions folks and that
there are people who disagree with such assertions.
