sits across from Taco Bell on a busy main artery of a road. They have about 6 parking spaces in the back. Inside they're full when we walked in. Surprisingly we got seated asap. Service was fast and accurate. Very colorful choice of paint palette everywhere outside. My company enjoyed his omelette while I savored my Acai Bowl. I searched for the MMA looking staff but they weren't around:)? What's up with that Earl G? Seriously the BEST acai bowl ever! It's soo good!!! I've tried the other acai bowls in Santa Cruz or elsewhere, but nothing compares to this! They make it taste so smooth and not icey! The only downfall of this place is that it closes early and coming from Sunnyvale, it takes time to get there! Parking is a little hard because you have to street park or in the neighborhood! Must visit and eat at while visiting Santa Cruz. Food here is very good. My wife and I really like the Acai bowl (Ah-Sigh-ee) with strawberry and bananas. It's just a matter of time: We will eventually get to try all of their food. So far: 1. A Cavalo... Very good! 2. Feijoada Completa... The best and our favorite! We love the sausages in the feijoada and the occasional beef cubes that get added to it. It us a must order and try if you have never been here. 20-35 minutes wait but very much worth the wait. Again, very good place to eat at Santa Cruz! This is my favorite restaurant in Santa Cruz. I always order the acai bowl and the Orfeu Negro with vegetarian beans. My fiance always orders the acai bowl and the veggie frittata. All of these dishes are amazing. This restaurant has amazing vegetarian options. This place does have a long wait time so expect to wait about an hour. The wait is worth it. We went to Santa Cruz yesterday for a day trip, and were all extremely hungry. So we decided to stop here around 2:30 before hitting up the beach, because what fun is sand and surf if your stomach is being assaulted by old man hunger? This place is rather tiny, but it had cool and casual vibe to that made us feel comfortable, and seemed perfectly adequate for both groups of people and the lone wolf who wants to do work on their laptop while eating an omelette. And while I've read many yelp reviews on here mentioning how packed it can get in here, we were seated almost immediately. Cafe Brasil caters to the breakfast and lunch crowd, so the majority of what you'll see on the menu is a mix of several variations of omelette's, smoothies, sandwiches, and dishes with a blend of rice, fish, beans, and beef. I decided on a Feijoada dish that seemed authentic and delicious, a cup of coffee, and a Brazilian soda. The waitress taking our orders was very helpful and
