love for GD has slipped a bit. 14828689 hubs even mentioned that perhaps next anniversary, we may try something new. i mean, there isn't a lack of restos to drop $300 in a matter of minutes. maybe it was 14828689 beef being prepared with a tomato, corn and cilantro sauce. i don't know. something just wasn't right for me last night. Gary Danko was my first Michelin star restaurant. I heard that it was one of 14828689 best restaurants in SF, so I decided to indulge my taste buds. Attentive servers, elegant ambiance and delicious food is how I would sum up my experience. I chose 4 courses (crispy farm egg, scallop, duck and steak) with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. At 14828689 time, it was 14828689 best meal I have ever had, but now my standards have been raised after touring other Michelin star restaurants in 14828689 Bay Area. Definitely plan on coming back sometime soon. I had Seared Sea Scallops with Spring Onion Soubise, Melted Leeks and King Trumpet Mushrooms, Pan Roasted Quail Stuffed with Cornbread and Pancetta with Maitake Mushrooms and Smoked Ham Hocks and trio of cream brulee. And my mom had Glazed Oysters with Osetra Caviar, Salsify and Lettuce Cream, Coconut Thai Curry with Shrimp, Calamari, Lobster, Scallops, Scallions and Shiitake Mushrooms, chocolate souffl??. Obviously I tried all of her dishes as well :P Oysters were really good even though I don't like oysters. I loved my scallops- they were buttery and melted in my mouth. Quail was super cute - they gave me two of them - super tiny. Can never go wrong with cream brulee- vanilla, lavender and coffee. They also gave us a plate of
