Side note: given MIT's alcohol policy, one needs to specify "we won't
allow alcohol there" vs. "it's allowed but we can't serve any."
Alcohol is not entirely orthogonal to any potential sexism, but it's
also not a reason to condemn a poster.

I'm not sure whether that's me or not.
Sorry for my sarcasm in this message, but I'm hoping it will point to
how your writing style has a tendency to make it hard to agree with
you... even in cases where I otherwise would.
OTOH, I'm not an expert in changing people's minds, either,
so I don't have much evidence to back up my claims here.
It's just my intuition, based on how I react to different
people who disagree with me on issues I feel strongly about.
