Brussels are a must have for appetizer, 3913525 the Cod melts in your mouth as an entree and you will have about 100 bourbons to choose from to sip on. Our server, Drew, was extremely knowledgable, and the Manager, Brian, checked on our table throughout the evening. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation here, as you won't be disappointed. <p><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><span style="font-size: 12px; color: #f4f5f5;">I've been here for brunch, happy hour, and now 3913525 finally dinner. I've enjoyed all three but need to get my one annoyance out of the way.
When one makes a reservation they want to be sat as close to that reservation as possible. Things happen, I get it. But when the hostess volunteers that she sat someone ahead of you and sits you 15 minutes after your reservation and walks away from your table without an "enjoy your meal" or "sorry 3913525 for messing up your reservation!" That sets a bad tone. We almost left, but I'm happy we didn't. Our waitress and the food saved the night. But tisk tisk hostess.
I love that Local Three is the epitome of Atlanta-Southern-Hipster charm. Everything I love about this city's dining scene jammed into a restaurant on the bottom floor of an office building.
Start with a cocktail. I enjoyed my Manhattan 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee and Maker's Mark with house made ginger beer. If you go for happy hour you can have free truffled Parmesan popcorn. That's a gift from the Atlanta food gods. Take it. If you have to pay for an app I loved the meat board with purple mustard. The duck ham stood out but all the meats were great.
I had the zucchini and squash lasagna with homemade ricotta. This is one of those dishes that the local, homemade farm to table thing really stands out. It also looked a little small at first but packed a filling punch. 3913525 That homemade ricotta really sold it!
Don't leave without getting dessert. I love that they have small plate dessert options and then full size ones. We got two small plates- the mille fieulle (mousse layered with chocolate) and hushpuppies. The puppies were okay but would pass on them next time and just get the mille fieulle. That was truly a 3913525 special dessert and so rich.Um value? Yes.
Brunch is good and shows off their fun creative side. You also get to walk through their beautiful kitchen.
