<p><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><span style="font-size: 12px; color: #f4f5f5;">Cucina Urbana thank you for always living up to my high expectations :) I have dined here several times and never had 22462168 anything less than a fabulous meal. I will confidently say this is the best restaurant in San Diego.
To begin, the white Italian wine flight is 22462168 a wonderful way to start the meal! You get to taste three very different but all delightful wines. If you're fancying a bottle, it is sold at retail price. You can take home any bottle you don't finish. I just love it.
While I am not a cocktail person I have heard great things from members of my parties about Cucina's cocktails. My boyfriend really 7ea99ed1b6714702bd5343b786c98bee enjoys the Night in Milan Cocktail. His sister loves the Fresca Italiana.
Oh the food...oh the food. Every single item on the menu is delicious. My recommendations:
Apps:
Squash Blossoms: fried squash blossoms 22462168 stuffed with creamy ricotta cheese. We order two orders every visit (they are that good)
Giant Meatball: off of the sides menu but makes a wonderful appetizer to share
Brussels and Prosciutto Pizza: off of the pizza menu but is a perfect app to share with a larger group, about six slices.
Entrees:
The Whole Fish: my whole fish came deboned 22462168 and stuffed with feta couscous. It was truly the best whole fish dish I have ever had. On the lighter side of their menu so a great way to go if you're looking for that or even if you're just a fish person.
Rib Eye: Two small torpedoes of beef that looked and ate more like a filet..yum. Medium rare came cooked to perfection, red, tender and seasoned to a tee. I would HIGHLY suggest ordering this!
Dessert:
Nutella Zepoles
Banana Ricotta Canoli
Be fat while you are here and order 22462168 both of these desserts no matter how full you are! You will not be disappointed!
How can you not love a restaurant that is perfection from drinks to apps to entrees all the way through dessert!? Thank you Cucina Urbana for being consistently amazing to me each and every time!
