You're probably right, though I wouldn't be too quick to ignore the
anti-administration sentiment being a factor as well.  Voodoo can
probably get away with more because they are a humor magazine, and so
their skewering of the administration is less barbed (yet still
accurate).

This is orthogonal to my opinion that the administration should be
viewpoint neutral towards student groups.

No, but the Cathloics (and many other religions) do hold beliefs
almost as disturbing (e.g., if you're not baptized you're headed for
hell).  Admittedly, statements like these probably weren't in the
packet, but they're still implied by the term "catholic".
